Job Description:

Arsenal Studios is seeking a Web Developer for a contract to hire opportunity. The immediate objective is to assist with our rapidly growing web design business with a secondary emphasis on supporting internal online publishing and web software projects.

 

Arsenal Studios is a boutique style online advertising agency that provides clients with web design, development, ecommerce, and search marketing solutions. We distinguish ourselves from other web design firms by offering ethical design and development solutions that help our clients prosper and profit. Put simply, we provide high end, agency quality online marketing without taking advantage of our clients like so many large agencies do. We are looking for a candidate that wants to do great work for good clients and help us invent new web based products in markets where there is a need.

Skill Set Details:

Strong working knowledge of
HTML
CSS
JavaScript
PHP
MySQL or SQL based DB technologies
Photoshop / Illustrator
Strong attention to detail
Ability to self motivate and work under tight deadlines

 

The ideal candidate would possess some or all of these additional skills
Familiarity with Ajax & jQuery JavaScript Library
ColdFusion experience
Experience in web site / interface design
Working knowledge of SEO best practices
Experience with CMS such as Drupal, WordPress
Social marketing / FBML skills
Mobile development (web or app) experience
Copywriting / copy editing skills
Print design experience
Video editing / video production experience
Flash / ActionScript experience

About the Position
In this position, you will be developing functionality , interfaces, content management systems, forms, ecommerce systems, and pretty much anything else that you can envision a business with a strong online presence needing. It is a challenging and dynamic role in which you will be learning, critically thinking, and problem solving every day. No two client challenges are the same, and you will not be asked to force square pegs in to round holes. You will be creatively collaborating with clients and the rest of the Arsenal Studios team to meet each client's needs on a case by case basis.
